Partner, Terrell Davis.

The main purpose of Terrell Davis's project is to understand what melanin is. Where it comes from, how it effects us, etc. Melanin is what determines the color of ones skin...

The intended audience towards Terrell's project would be those who are interested in finding out why ones skin color is the way it is. Why are they this color ethnicity? why do people have different skin colors?, etc.

Very interesting project.

In-progress task #2 "What Is Love" video text.

In this video (view on youtube) "What Is Love" and interviewer goes around a city and asks individuals what they think love is. Each individual that answered the question had a different answer and view on what they thought love was..which was very interesting to me. Some people didn't really have a straight forward answer to the question. Others just answered saying that they have been there done that and said they don't really believe in it.

The major players in this text was the person behind the camera asking the question... She would go around the whole city just stopping random people/ couples and asking them what love is..many responded and some took there time to think it through..

The importance in the idea the person had for this text was to see what people thought "love" was.. the beautiful part about it is that many people had different answers that were all over the place. The thing I got from it is that love is different to every person. Not every single person in this world thinks love is what I think it is or not everyone thinks love is what you think it is. Love has many different meanings.

In-progress Task #1.

When the general public views my paper and topic they will want to know the answer to what love is. They will want to see the facts I state when presenting my views on the subject. General questions like what is love? how do I find love? how do I know I am in love? etc. I will try my best to answer and have FACTS as to why I think I may be right about what I state.

Some status quo to my subject which are universally believed by most of the people on this earth is that we will ALL find love and that everyone at one point in there life WILL be in love...

When reading my texts I suspect the outcomes and results to have a strong effect on what people think love is.. When viewing the texts I feel the author is really trying to state what they believe love is and backing it up with the facts they have presented.

Colum Library results and how I feel...

While searching results for my topic "What is love" from the past year at the Columbia Library webpage I have found nothing but a lot of confusion as to what it is some of these people are talking about... Clicking the first couple links I have found these people to start off there news, academic journals, periodicals, etc. explaining that we've all felt "head over heels in love" or "we've all been in this situation" blah blah blah...NO.

First of all I am searching WHAT IS LOVE not "Here's how I've experienced love"... the whole point of my project is to try and find out what love is! but here I have idiots naming there articles "What Is Love" when half of them start it off by stating how they've all been in love, different types of love, and several scenarios they have found themselves in..

So to sum all this up... I do not trust these people and there knowledge towards my subject.

Interviewer for Essay.

Person I will be interviewing: Maddie Flood.

Maddie is a close friend of mine who writes a lot of insightful blogs. She has done one of many blogs on my topic which is love. I find that she will be a great addition to my paper because her views and theories on the subject are very interesting. Some views are very different then mine which makes me propose questions that I would love answers for..
